Rosa Paz is a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator for the Thoracic Oncology Program at UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. She has worked in clinical research since December 2012. Her expertise lies in leading operational aspects for the implementation of clinical study activities from study start-up phase through study closure. She ensures good clinical practices and standard operating procedures on all studies she manages. While working with the Thoracic Oncology Program she participated in an FDA audit for an upcoming drug approval, which passed with excellence.

Due to her initiative, leadership, and unwavering dedication to research studies that she has managed, she had the opportunity to become a co-author on two publications produced by the Genitourinary Medical Oncology program. 

Rosie graduated from University of California, San Diego and majored in General Biology. One of her upcoming personal goals is to learn to play the piano with her 2-year-old nephew
