A gift to the Thoracic Oncology Progam helps us discover new treatments and cures for lung cancer, esophageal cancer and mesothelioma.

Johannes Kratz, M.D., a research fellow in the Thoracic Oncology Lab from 2008-11, played a pivotal role in the development of a prognostic assay for early-stage lung cancer patients, reported on in The Lancet and JAMA.

There are three (3) ways to Find a Surgeon: by Specialty, by
Keyword, and by Name.
Find Surgeon by Specialty
Our surgeons perform a wide range of procedures and treat
numerous diseases. Clicking in the Specialty dropdown control lists
the major areas of practice with special headings for adult and
pediatric cancers. Choosing one of these headings will call up a
second dropdown box with subspecialties relevant to that specialty.
Choose the subspecialty that most closely matches the disease or
procedure you are interested in.
Find Surgeon by Keyword
Type a word or two into the box that describes the disease,
condition, or surgical procedure you are interested in. Typing
"colon cancer" (without the quotes) will bring up all doctors who
treat colon cancer. You may specify multiple search terms by
separating them with a comma. For example:
Lung cancer, minimally invasive
