Dr. Adam A. Garsa is a radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of head and neck, skin, and central nervous system (CNS) cancers. He specializes in the use of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), Gamma Knife and Cyberknife radiosurgery. Dr. Garsa earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, he completed his residency at Washington University School of Medicine, and he completed a radiation oncology fellowship at UCSF. He is participating in several clinical studies at UCSF focused on improving outcomes with innovative treatment options while minimizing side effects of treatment. He works in a team-oriented approach to provide an integrated and individualized treatment plan for each patient.
